About the Owner
When I was adolescent, my mom (Emma) had a yellow jewelry box that I loved looking through and playing dress-up with her jewelry. She had a saying that an outfit was not complete without your accessories. Emma made sure to put on her accessories no matter the day/time, going to seven-eleven to get her diet coke and pack of chewing tobacco, or taking a ride with Sugg (her mom/my grandma).
One of my fondest memories of my mom was when I met her and my brother at Duke Cancer Center. As I was walking into the Cancer Center, I met them head on. My mother was SO BEAUTIFUL in her pink/white flowery dress and pink sandals with her gold-tone jewelry. The smile on her face was priceless. I could tell that she felt good even though medically there was nothing else they could do.
That was one of the most defining moments for Emma’s Jewelry Box.
No matter what it might look like, I do not have to look like what I have been through. My mom was instrumental in me starting to make/design jewelry. We shared a love for jewelry and accessories. She encouraged me to do it and she was my best spokesperson for my jewelry. After my mom passed away in 2011, the desire was not quite the same. I still made jewelry here and there, but the passion was not the same. But God! First of 2023, God spoke to me and told me to get back to designing jewelry. That weekend, I made about 30 pairs of earrings and have not stopped. Since then, I learned how to make polymer clay and resin jewelry and accessories. I love mixing, twisting, and rolling polymer clay. With each mix, twist, and roll, you get a different pattern/design. I don’t waste any clay!
Each pattern is unique and beautiful.
So, let Emma’s Jewelry Box be that accent piece of jewelry for every occasion.
You deserve to stand out from the crowd.
